■ Overview
It is a dust collection facility that removes dust by using centrifugal force generated when rotating gas to separate solid or liquid dust from gas, also called a cyclone.
A cyclone may be one large single chamber (Cyclone) or a group of several pipes positioned in parallel (Multi Cyclone), or may be kinetic similar to a blower.
As the dust gas screw downward, the particles move toward the wall of the circumference and then settle to the bottom. The clean gas completes the downward screw motion, begins an upward screw motion, and is discharged through the outlet inner diameter.
■ Features
The structure is simple and manufacturing and maintenance costs are unexpensive, so it is not restricted by location.
However, its utility should be limited to dust with large particle size.
