Biological Treatment Facilities

■ Overview

The separation membrane used in our company’s immersion membrane separation method is called a “hollow fiber membrane.” which means a fiber with a hollow center, and pollutants in sewage removed through tiny holes(0.1-0.4㎛) on the surface of the thread-shaped membrane. It is a state-of-the-art ultra-precision filter that can perfectly filter.

 

The submerged hollow fiber membrane perfectly performs solid-liquid separation, which is difficult to achieve in the sedimentation method, by immersing a screen-shaped module made of porous hollow fiber made of polyethylene into an activated sludge (aeration tank) tank and sucking it in with a self-priming pump.

 

The surface of the hollow fiber is coated with hydrophilic properties to show excellent fouling resistance and durability. The membrane material, membrane shape, and pore structure were characterized to ensure optimal fractionation characteristics.

 

■ Advantages

– No odor: In the existing method, overexplosion could not be performed due to a decrease in the sedimentation efficiency of the sedimentation tank. But in our method, no odor is generated due to sufficient air supply.


– Good treated water quality: High concentration of activated MLSS (10,000-15,000 ppm) enables high BOD removal efficiency and high SS removal due to perfect solid-liquid separation of the hydrophilic construction membrane. (BOD: 5mg/L, SS: 1mg/L or less)


– Required site area is small: There is no need for a machine room or sedimentation facility. The high MLSS concentration(10,000 to 15,000 ppm) allows the aeration tank volume to be reduced by ½ to 1/5, so the installation site is half that of the existing facility.


- Good compatibility when using repair work with existing methods: It is possible to be constructed by carrying out a civil engineering project with using 100% existing civil structures when improvement of water quality is required.


– Simplification of equipment: With the development of the module (MODEL-SKY), anyone can assemble and install on-site in a short period of time, and the construction cost is inexpensive, allowing mass supplies to consumers at proper prices (on-site construction takes 3 hours).


– Convenient : There is no need for professional maintenance, and the underwater BLOWER installation which does Which not generate noise, maintaining a comfortable environment.

– Agricultural wastewater, food wastewater, livestock wastewater, excrement, water purification, high-concentration wastewater treatment

– Can be used in combination with post-treatment, advanced treatment and low-concentration wastewater treatment
